Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

  • Senior Faculty:
    • Ph.D./M.Des or equivalent in Design or related subject with a minimum of 15 years of experience in Design Industry/Design education.
    • OR B.Des or equivalent in Design or related subject with a minimum of 18 years of experience in Design Industry/Design education.
  • Associate Senior Faculty:
    • Ph.D./M.Des or equivalent in Design or related subject with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Design Industry/Design education.
    • OR B.Des or equivalent in Design or related subject with a minimum of 13 years of experience in Design Industry/Design education.
  • Faculty:
    • Ph.D./M.Des or equivalent in Design or related subject with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Design Industry/Design education.
    • OR B.Des or equivalent in Design or related subject with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Design Industry/Design education.

Age Limit:

  • Senior Faculty: Maximum 50 years
  • Associate Senior Faculty: Maximum 45 years
  • Faculty: Maximum 40 years

Experience:

Relevant experience in design education and/or industry as specified above.

Other Criteria:

  • Candidates can apply for multiple streams but must submit separate applications for each.
  • Positions are open across NID campuses in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Bengaluru.

Salary

  • Senior Faculty: ₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200 per month (Pay Level 12)
  • Associate Senior Faculty: ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700 per month (Pay Level 11)
  • Faculty: ₹53,100 – ₹1,67,800 per month (Pay Level 9)

Plus admissible allowances as per Government of India and NID norms.
